How to use this forum

Welcome to the Mid-South Social Justice Network Forum.
This forum's mission is to provide a safe and easy to use way for those interested in Unitarian Universalist Social Justice to be able to share an open and broad dialog to discuss all things UUSJ. To provide a place where members can share what's going on in their area with others that may not be so nearby. To provide a place where the entire Mid-South district is connected within itself. And the states within MSD can also connect with each other in the state whether they reside within MSD or not.
In order to follow this mission all I ask is this -
That you respect one another by refraining from:
1) Using foul language
2) Intentional use of dishonest or misleading posts
3) Malicious posts attacking an individual or group
The entire forum is sponsored by MSD and thus the majority of the site will most likely be used by member congregations of MSD; However, I invite other districts to use the state categories (Florida - on the main page) to represent their own congregations that are also in that state with the MSD.
I also invite others in the area to use and view this forum to find out what's happening near you.
You don't have to be UU to be interested in Social Justice.
Now that you know the basics of what this site is for. Here's how to USE it.
By clicking on the individual categories you will find further individual forums under them. Within these forums you will find a link that says "Post a new topic," by clicking this it will allow you to enter a new topic about whatever you need. If you can't find a specific place for your topic then post it under the General forum and as soon as possible I will form a forum for it and move it there. Or you can email me with any categories or forums you think should be included and I will create them.
You can also view individual topics that others (or yourself) have posted and even reply to these topics if you wish. I ask that you do so for dialogue is one of the great things of UUism and it's how new ideas are formed. So please share your opinions, just remember to be respectful of others when doing so.
Be aware that this is a site always progressing and growing. The more input you put into it the better it will become but it does take time for it to mature into widespread use so please be patient.
Any additional information can be found in the FAQ and there will be an additional FAQ created soon as well as a general Rules page where you'll be able to find all of this information as well.
